Lavandería la Pajarita is a laundry located at Son Castelló in Palma de Mallorca. It was founded in 1963 by Hoteles Mallorquines (currently known as Melià Hotels International) and since then it has served a great many hotels on the island.
In 2014, Lavandería la Pajarita joined the Bugaderia Empordà group, which has been specialising in laundry and rental services for the high-level hotel sector for over 30 years, and has earned the trust of the most demanding hotels in the Iberian Peninsula.
A future vision FOR A NEW ERA
Ever since Bugaderia Empordà took on the management of Lavandería la Pajarita in Mallorca, significant improvement investments have been made with the aim of creating a laundry that exceeds the level of client expectations to perfection. The investments made by the new management affect the entire infrastructure of the facilities, renovating everything from the asbestos roof, warehouses, changing rooms for workers and chemical product rooms, as well as the construction of two loading docks to facilitate operations, etc. The entire energy infrastructure, such as gas, water, steam and oil facilities has been renovated, as well all the existing machinery.
Thus, in 2014, Lavandería la Pajarita began operations with all the elements necessary to provide maximum quality, service and guarantee in the laundering and rental of linen for hotels in Mallorca. Today, the company is still growing and reinvesting in infrastructure and human resources, committed to stringency and professionalism when servicing the new demand.
We currently have 6,000m2 of facilities, located 5km from the centre of Palma de Mallorca.
